The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is turning 75! They're throwing a big old party on May 14th and hosting some special exhibits. One of which is SMITHS which is an ongoing project by local artist Allison Smith, that is inspired by the history of general stores as intimate spaces of public exchange. By looking to the past, Smith hopes to identify useful models for creative practice in the present, particularly in times of war and economic uncertainty.
