Mickey Muennig's architecture has helped define Big Sur's style. These aren't beach shacks, these are chic organic sculptures that match their surroundings. At 74 he's been building green houses as long as anyone, without sacrificing style. This is his Copper Point House which is topped with a thick sod roof and built into the landscape. It has concrete walls on two sides and glass on the others. The art and shelving displays act as easy extensions of the beams and walls that mimic natural elements.
