Casual Eclecticism

This is Caroline Scheeler's house in Wayne, Illinois. My first job was lifeguarding at the Dunham Woods Riding Club in Wayne. I grew up surrounded by the town's horse trails and buildings which are steeped in history. It's one of the best small towns in the country. I was thrilled to see these photos of Caroline's house there. She commutes to Jayson Home & Garden in Chicago, another home-town favorite of mine. Photos by Roger Davies.
Firewood below this Natural Curiousities photo makes a great vertical statement.

Photos up the stairwell look especially unique surrounded by this custom runner Caroline made from an antique Turkish rug.

Ribbons displayed this way show a burst of color and tell great stories of Caroline's youth.

Top a table with both old and new items.

More stand-out photos from Natural Curiousities.
