Why Not?

Why not make your laundry room beautiful? We certainly spend enough time there. Sarah Richardson designed this one so the owner actually enjoyed doing their chores.

Lip Service

I like these giant smiles on the wall. Thanks to Richard Powers for sharing the image. These would actually be easy portraits to duplicate with you and your honey. Just be sure the image is captured in Large or Raw format so you can blow them up and crop them to be this big.

Small Paintings Pack a Punch

Black and white with colors inbetween. Smaller pieces really do make more of an impact when they are grouped together. These beautiful displays are shown on Habitually Chic.

We are approaching the holidays, and I love this alternative wreath made from book pages that I spotted on The Inspired Room.

UK Inspiration

I love GrahamandGreen's old print block letters and wall mounts.

Check out Deborah Bowness' wallpaper collections. She uses images of vintage furniture and books among other things to add art to any wall.
Ben Pentreath has an amazing shop in London. He also lends his talents to design work. Below is some of his work and artist's drawings he sells in his shop.

Keep it natural

I saw this image posted on VT Interiors, one of my favorite blogs. It's a great example of mixing collected objects and art. It's so clean and natural.

M. Frederick

Work spaces are supposed to inspire, so even though these pieces might change over time, don't be afraid to arrange items that breed ideas on your walls. We all need a break from looking at the keyboard, why not enjoy it!? M.Frederick is an interior designer headquartered in New Jersey.
I don't always want things to match, but I like how the gold is seen in the frames and the fixtures.
I love seeing frames mounted on bookshelves. Art and books are a perfect pair. Spotting an image among the books catches a visitor's eye and increases chances of them inspecting what's actually on the shelves.

Deep Blue with Grant K. Gibson

Can you ever go wrong with blue and white? This bedroom is by San Francisco Interior Designer, Grant K. Gibson. He's mixed frame colors and sizes, but used white matte board for each piece which unites them all and the contrast seen on the wall echoes the contrast in his choice for bedding. Sharp!

All ready at HallReady

Interior design is a large universe full of ideas and inspiration. At HallReady I want to focus on a niche of design, the art of display. My goal for this blog is simple, to showcase a variety of ways to present art whether it's in the bedroom, kitchen or hall . Examples will include photos, paintings, taxidermy, collected objects, and more. I'll look at a wide range of art, from homemade to gallery purchased, and investigate how framing, grouping, and coordinating art with surrounding objects can make a statement. I'm excited to start sharing HallReady concepts.
