One Big Window, One Big Wall

Rita Konig, captured a great example of how best to design around big windows and tall ceilings. This before and after comparison comes from her blog within the New York Times design section and I know it can be helpful to many of us with untraditional wall space. By using balloon shades, though somewhat out of fashion, an element of dimension was added. By hanging framed pieces of art in various sizes, the eye is drawn up and which makes the space feel cozier and better utilized.
